If you are an operator or investor in the world of Pet, you will surely be preparing for the comingof the beautiful season. Summer is almost upon us, the days seem to never end and the firstheat begins to be felt, so it's time to gear up for the best time of the year. During this season, even the Pet business returns to blossom, because the beautiful sunny days tempt more and more owners to share long walks and holidays with their pets, but above all many people take advantage of the mating season to be able to take care of a new puppy.

Obviously owning a pet is one of the greatest joys you can experience in the course of your life, because the bond that is created is really something deep and intimate, but which at the same time involves the assumption of different responsibilities. Educating a dog or a cat is not at all simple, just as it is not always easy to adapt one's lifestyle and commitments to the needs of our furry friend. This unfortunately is the reason why so many animals are abandoned on the street, especially in the summer period, when most Italians leave for their holidays, or it is the reason why many of them die from the excessive heat of the surrounding environment.

If the period that awaits us is propitious for the foreseeable increase in consumption in the world of Pet and the threshold of general attention for the health of our four-legged friends, then we can safely say that what we have before us is a really interesting opportunity, which, however, can only be fully exploited with the right business strategy. The latter must obviously be based on a valid and effective product, which proves to be a source of income for the investor and a useful tool for the customer.

IPS took care of this last aspect, which wanted to put its skills at the service of this particular sector, creating the ideal tool for GDO that deal with the resale of products for Pet Care.

Our Pet Auto Alert was born from these intentions, an innovative product whose goal is precisely to sensitize pet owners to the undesirable effects of high summer temperatures, especially inside the passenger compartment of our cars.

Owning a pet, as mentioned above, means taking on great responsibilities and a good number of commitments. In fact, taking care of a dog, for example, automatically implies having to transport it by car for the most disparate reasons: a visit to the vet, a stroll in the park, a run in the dog area or a pleasure trip. Whatever the destination and motivation, there are always good rules to respect in all these occasions: secure our Fido (placing it in the trunk with the metal separator or put the belt for animals) and make sure that he always enjoys a good air recirculation. In fact, our cars are built with a metal frame, a material that retains heat very well and is the indirect cause of overheating of the car interior. In addition to being a stuffy and cramped environment, an excessive stay inside this small space can really represent a serious danger for our furry friends, who could face a real heat stroke. A few minutes are enough to trigger the dehydration process, which will inevitably lead to a respiratory and cardiac crisis, and therefore to death.

Alla luce di fatti, IPS ha voluto fare la propria parte nella campagna di sensibilizzazione contro l’abbandono dei cani in automobile, e perciò ha impiegato le proprie tecnologie per la creazione di Pet Auto Alert. Questo prodotto non è altro che uno strumento in grado di effettuare misurazioni continuative ed affidabili della temperatura interna dell’abitacolo, il cui scopo è proprio quello di sensibilizzare i conducenti circa i rischi correlati alla calura estiva. Infatti, grazie al suo termometro ai cristalli liquidi microincapsulati, il conducente avrà sempre sotto controllo la situazione, e verrà avvisato quando la temperatura inizia a raggiungere la soglia di criticità, oltre la quale il nostro Fido dovrà essere messo in sicurezza. Infine va ricordato che il nostro Pet Auto Alert è atossico, infrangibile e completamente realizzato in Italia secondo le vigenti normative CE.

In light of these facts, IPS wanted to do its part in the awareness campaign against dog abandonment in the car, and therefore used its own technologies to create Pet Auto Alerts. This product is nothing more than an instrument capable of carrying out continuous and reliable measurements of the interior temperature of the passenger compartment, the purpose of which is precisely to sensitize drivers about the risks related to the summer heat. In fact, thanks to its microencapsulated liquid crystal thermometer, the driver will always have the situation under control, and will be notified when the temperature begins to reach the critical threshold, beyond which our Fido must be secured. Finally, it should be remembered that our Pet Auto Alert is non-toxic, unbreakable and completely made in Italy according to the current CE regulations.
