Fever, very common in children, is a cause of great concern, yet it is advisable that the parent never panic even if the fever is very high. Let's try to understand better.

In case of fever in children, what to do? Having a fever is not a good reason to go to the emergency room, for the reasons described above. As for antifebrile drugs, it must be said that they are not always effective, since not all fevers are the same and not all children respond to drugs in the same way.

This winter, however, the emergency linked to Covid-19 will presumably still be present so, even if newborns seem to be touched less strongly than adults, it is good to respect the rules described above with the foresight to keep them constantly and continuous monitoring of the infant's body temperature.
